 The Wedding Saturday, July 23, 2011 Ceremony, 5:00pm Route 23A Hunter, New York The wedding ceremony will take place at the summit of Hunter Mountain. Yes, you will have to ride the new Kaatskill Flyer "Six-Pack" to get up there! Please plan to arrive at the chair lift no later than 4:00pm, to allow adequate time to travel up the mountain. If you are staying at the KMC (the hotel on the resort property) it a short walk or shuttle bus ride over, just behind the main lodge. The chair lift has a finished deck, and attendants to help you board and get off. If this is your first time riding, you have nothing to worry about. The speed is twice as slow as the winter, and the chairs slow down even more when you get on and off the lift. Feel free to bring sturdy shoes to change into for the ceremony, if necessary. There are some grass and wood-chip walkways at the summit... stiletto heels may sink. Cocktail Hour and Reception, 6:00pm The Copper Tree Restaurant Route 23A Hunter, New York Cocktail Hour will be held in The Schoharie Rooms (adjacent to the Copper Tree) immediately following the ceremony, then a reception will take place at The Copper Tree Restaurant with dinner, lots of dancing, and delicious desserts. *Sneak Peek: There will be a photo booth in the elevator lobby - be sure to visit it and sign the guest book! After party? 11pm... VanWinkle's Restaurant at the KMC Route 23A Hunter, New York Feel free to join the bride and groom, friends and family at the VanWinkle's bar after the reception to keep the celebration going!  ***News Update!*** We are excited to announce that Hunter Mountain has been chosen to receive the Bride’s Choice Award 2011 from WeddingWire.com.
